COOKED INTO KEBAB MEAT - CHARLENE DOWNES

Charlene Downes was an English schoolgirl that went missing in Blackpool in 2003 (aged 14).

Two men went on trial for helping dispose of her body but the jury did not reach a verdict in 2007. A £100,000 reward is on offer for finding Charlene Downes’ body. Charlene was last seen walking down Blackpool’s famous north pier. But the most shocking aspect of this case is that police and prosecution believe that she was cooked into Kebab meat. The prosecution alleged that the owner of Funny Boyz restaurant (now known as Mr Beanz) disposed of her body by adding it to kebabs and selling it to the general public, to the revellers and party-goers of Blackpool. Charlene’s younger brother admitted punching the man that faced the charges of helping dispose of her body. It’s been 20 years and Charlene’s killers were never brought to justice. Funny Boyz still stands in Blackpool, Dickson Road.

The owner of the kebab shop Mohammed Reveshi has said that he does not care whether Charlene is alive or dead.

Charlene’s brother later fell into a depression because of Charlene’s disappearance and died of a drug overdose a few years ago.

Will Charlene ever get justice?

The victims were as follows:  Amy Ayers aged just 13.  Eliza Thomas aged just 17.  Jennifer Harbison is also aged 17.  Sarah Harbison aged only 15.  This was a tragic event that shaped the future of the city. It should never be forgotten, but even more devastatingly, the crime was never solved. We are over thirty years since the murder and the case has grown cold.  Let’s ask the question:  WHO KILLED THESE GIRLS?  It was December 6th 1991 in the I CAN’T BELIEVE IT’S YOGURT! shop in Austin, Texas where the four girls lost their lives and the place was burned down with the bodies inside.  The victims were shot by a pistol (using a .22 calibre bullet), and one of the victims was sexually assaulted (confirmed by forensics) although it...
